Have a Blessed Thursday with Jesus. Seek Him First. Meditate on Galatians 5. You know a tree by the fruit it bears. Apple trees don’t produce oranges. We can’t produce fruit from the Spirit if we aren’t connected to Jesus Christ.
The Spirit produces character traits that are in the nature of Christ. We cannot try to get them without Jesus’ help. For the fruit to grow in us, we must join our life to His (John 15:4-5). We must know Jesus, love Him, remember Him, and imitate Him.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”
