Have you ever seen this catchy and convincing sign on store windows or posted on a merchandise website? These words were chosen to have an impact and lead you to come in and check out what merchandise must go.
Whatever you are holding on to that is not helping you to move forward must go!
Whatever negative thoughts come across your mind and try to linger must go!
Believing what the world and others say about you, then letting it bother you, must go!
Do not allow doubt, fear or worry to consume you; they must go!
See the pattern?
Anything keeping you from seeking a closer relationship with Jesus Christ must go!
As we close out of one year and enter into another, let us hold on to every promise from God given in His Word. Choose to let go of doubts and fears and remember:
2 Timothy 1:7 "For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline."
Philippians 4:13 "I can do all this through him who gives me strength."
Choose to let go of negative thinking. Please do not bring it with you into 2019.
2 Corinthians 10: 5 "We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."
Know that you are made in God's image and you have purpose.
Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us of this promise from God: "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Don't allow anything to keep you from the great Blessings God has for you.
