Have a Blessed last Friday in February with Jesus. Seek Him First. Meditate on 1 Peter 5. Peter knew first hand about our enemy Satan’s attacks. Satan plants doubt, lies and fear in minds so when we are suffering we think the pain will never end. His goal is to keep you from growing in Christ and advancing Gods Kingdom on earth.
Peter reminds faithful Christians of a wider perspective: compared to eternity, our suffering only lasts “a little while.” Through Jesus Christ, who has ALL power, we will be strengthened and supported. In the end, faithful followers of Christ will spend eternity with Him, where there will be no suffering.
“And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.”
