Have a Blessed 1st Friday of 2022 with Jesus. Seek Him First. Meditate on John 17. This entire chapter is Jesus’ prayer before He sacrificed His life for ours. He prays for Himself, the disciples and future believers. Jesus has all power, yet He still prays.
Jesus prayed for our protection in advance. He prayed for the disciples (and us) to remain united with one another and connected to Him.
“I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one.”
