Jesus used his encounter with the rich young ruler to warn the disciples, and us, about the dangers of wealth.
It’s hard for the rich to enter the kingdom of God (18:24) because the rich think they are self sufficient.
Jesus makes clear money cannot buy Salvation or Grace. We are all sinners—and ALL can be saved, rich or poor.
Gif can work in the hearts and minds of the wealthy and humble them to seek Him, not riches, as their source of eternal life. 🙏🏾
