Have a Blessed Saturday with Jesus. ☀️Seek Him First. Meditate on 1 Thessalonians 5. Our joy, prayers, and thankfulness should not fluctuate with our circumstances or feelings. Obeying these three commands—rejoice always, pray continually, and give thanks—often goes against our natural inclinations. We all have a daily choice: live according to God’s way, (drawing closer to Him, live with His Wisdom Joy and Peace), or live according to our flesh (separate from God, doing whatever we want; drawing closer to the world/Satan).
When we make a conscious decision to do what God says, however, we will begin to see people in a new perspective. We will no longer give life to lies the enemy tells us. We will cling to The Word of God, knowing His standard holds the best outcome. When we adopt God’s way, and walk in His Word, only then will we have an easier time being joyful and thankful—in spite of our circumstances. 🙏🏾
“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
I Thessalonians 5:16-18 NKJV
