Have a Blessed last Friday in September with Jesus.✨Seek Him First. Meditate on 2 Timothy 1. As Paul encourages Timothy in ministry, he also reminds every Christian leader of the characteristics needed to be effective: power, love and sound mind (self-control).
Power is the boldness that comes from the confidence of the Gospel (Romans 1:16); Love is care, concern and tender hearted treatment of those we serve. Sound mind is keeping a cool head and tight reign on selfish desires.
When we allow people to intimidate us, we neutralize our effectiveness for God. The power of the Holy Spirit can help us overcome our fear so that we can continue to do God’s work.🙏🏾
