Anyone that wants to have a successful event, knows they must plan ahead. Whether it’s securing a venue, utilizing hired services, or decorations; you must research, prepare and definitely get the word out. You may even decide to post on social media to get maximum exposure.
Let’s say you did all this planning, but left out one important thing: the address! Ughh!
As Christians, we need to remember Who we serve and why. We have to remember to ask others if they are saved! We have to give them the address so they can know Jesus. The address is: Romans 10:9-10 that says, “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” http://bible.com/111/rom.10.9-10.niv
We get so caught up attending services, revivals, conferences, mid-day service, Sunday school and Bible Study that we forget the reason why we attend:
To study the Word of God, and hear the Word of God preached so we can apply the Word to our living and tell the world who He is;
To praise and worship Jesus Christ, to ask the Lord to replenish and restore whatever the enemy in this world tried to take last week and plans to take from you everyday.
To gather with fellow believers in Jesus Christ that can encourage and strengthen us for the week to come; through testimony, song or other forms of praise.
Now that everyone has the address; those that love Jesus, acknowledge He is the Son of God and invite Him into their hearts, are saved and can come to the The Big Event Jesus promised: Eternal Life.
